Hello, my name is Giselle and I come with 30 years of experience in health and wellness Which 16 of that has been in spine surgery scheduling and patient care coordinating.

During my personal time I like to travel with my husband and visit places I’ve never been. I spend a lot of time playing softball and I currently play on a women’s gold travel team nationwide.

I chose to be in the medical field, due to my Passion for caring for others and helping them with their journey to recovery.

Allie Brown

Nurse Practitioner

Hi, I’m Allie Brown, a board certified nurse practitioner with a Masters of Science in Nursing and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Columbia University. While my background is primarily in family medicine, I completed my residency in orthopedic spine surgery here at DISC under Dr. Shifflett.

Born and raised in Manhattan Beach, I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Science and a minor in Spanish.

Growing up in the South Bay, physical activity has always been a huge part of my life. I love to be outside playing beach volleyball, running, snowboarding, and going for walks with my two dogs, Murphy & Willy. I also grew up playing competitive sports, including soccer and track, which exposed me to the impact that injury and pain can have on quality of life, both mentally and physically. As a healthcare provider, I am passionate about helping my patients manage their symptoms so they can return to living in ways that are most fulfilling to them.
